Welcome to my OC Wiki! This seemed like a good way to manage information about all my characters in one neatly organized place. And it's good HTML practice!
I think the character categories are pretty self-explanatory, but just for clarity:
- Original Work - Characters from my original writing projects or other creative works.
- Self-Inserts - Characters used for, well, self-inserting. Usually into a work of fiction, usually for shipping purposes, but neither of these are necessarily true of all SIs.
- General Fandom - Characters who exist in the universe of a work of fiction which I didn't create, but are not intended to be or represent me.
- Video Games - The line between this and self-inserts can be a bit vague. This section is for video game player characters who are 1) customized and/or given headcanon lore by me and 2) not intended to be a stand-in for me for shipping purposes or whatever. So, for example, my Stardew Valley farmer would not go in here, but my FF14 character does.
- TTRPGs - My player characters for Dungeons and Dragons, Blades in the Dark, etc.
- Other OCs - Any characters that don't quite fit in other categories.
